The electronic music duo from Ibiza, Spain consisting of Germán Escandell and Jaime Irles was formed in Barcelona in 2009 while both were students. Jaime and Germán began experimenting with different styles of electronic music such as ambient, breaks, glitch, and others. In 2010 they self-released their first EP and in 2011 their first album Hollow was released on the Seattle-based netlabel Ember Music and later as CD-version on Tympanik Audio.

KNOWN REBEL craft their sounds into breathtaking movements of auditory emotion that build elegantly and flow into marvelous finales. Poingnant melodies, rich basslines, and lush synth measures serve as the undercurrent for wondrous atmospheres that embrace you, allowing plenty of room to breathe.
